Well, whew! It's good to be back on the blogger! Thanks JP for getting me back on!
Those are fabulous posts that you guys put up. I'm liking the name of the Sam Adam 630. It sounds so official, yet inviting. You on a snowmobile, Egan? I get visions of Luke Skywalker riding those hovercraft things through the forests and hoping not to hit the trees. Very inspiring.
And of course, the MS150 is very inspiring, too. Way to go, JP! Glad to see you still ride. I knew you always loved it. It's good to do the things you love. And it's nice to see Miquel is still your friend through all the years. He seems like a good guy.
Well, the adoption process is underway full swing! On May 10, El and I jet down to Guatemala City, Guatamala to help expedite some paperwork and hopefully visit little Marissa. It's wonderful and terrifying all at once. We won't be able to bring her home to the US for several months, but a short visit gives you hope on those long months of waiting.
Memorial day visit to the Motown sounds great to me. Everyone is welcome at my house. It's a small house, so you will all be sleeping in the front room, like the old days in Powell's Mom ranch house. Except there won't be laser beam security or a hound of hell guarding the hallway. I think that would be great.
You guys always have such great photos to share. I gotta get some better photos.
It's good we're all talking again.
I'll write Bruce an e-mail and see if he can swing Memorial Day. I bet he can. He's just a little anti the blog and I have no idea why. I think he just needs someone to walk him through.
Peace Out, Men! Let's talk again, soon.

Duke is in the house

This is Duke, my new puppy - he's 4 months old now. (photo taken at 9 weeks). He's a rescue mutt from the Turks and Caicos Islands, brought to Freeport, Maine via Freeport, Bahamas by someone we know here in town. A very sweet dog, who appears to be mostly yellow lab with some other flavors mixed in. The Kids love him, and he has become very attached to Michelle. Having a puppy is a lot like having a little baby all over again - only this one bites! I forgot how sharp those puppy teeth can be. Long live the memory of my dear old friend Loki.
The Sam Adams 630

Nice pics of your bike ride JP - Here's a couple of photos of me last Friday (4/20) during the Sam Adams 630.....which means a couple of co-workers and I were headed out on this frozen lake on snowmobiles at 6:30am with a few Sam Adams beers....(this is a popular brew up here in the fozen white north). It was my first time driving a snow mobile up in the woods and on trails. What a blast for a work day morning. My company is considering lending to the camp owner so he wanted to show us around - really all around, including 1/2 mile out on Millinocket Lake. Check your atlas in north central Maine, right next to Mt. Katahdin (bottom photo). By 8:00 that morning it was 60 degrees!
I just checked on flights to Motown - $220 for me on Memorial Day weekend. I'm ready -are you?? Life clicks by too fast guys - lets do this.
