Hello Gents,
This is a little girl Ellen and I named Marissa. We went to Guatemala on May 10 to meet here and say hello. She is still living in Guate. Marissa is now 5 1/2 months old. We pray everyday that God, who brought her into this world at His appointed time, would bring her into our home as well. And so we wait for that appointed time. International adoption is a real heartache. It reaches over long periods of times, across holidays and birthdays and seasons and takes at least one day longer than forever. El and I pray for the power to persevere.
Glad to see the blog is back.
Danny is now in 1st grade as of today. Evan starts K-garten tomorrow. I swear you can stare all day and not see them grow and then one day you turn around for just a minute and they are all grown up!
JP, your children and beautiful and handsome. Bear, you've always been a looker, even as the grey sets in.
I too hope we can meet sometime. I thought I'd have little Marissa home by now but such is life. So I cannot commit to travel until that happens. The door is always open here in Motown, but I know the plane tics aren't such a deal. Keep hope alive.
Love you guys!
