Theresa's folks came into town a couple weeks ago and we went to one of those gem mining places. We all had a blast! We did the bucket of dirt in the sluice thing but found a lot more just panning in the creek that runs down from the mine. Found green and blue aventurine, crystals and some amythest. Just a nice day hanging out in a beautiful spot.
Since then the temps have dropped to much to go back. The water was cold enough that day before we started hitting these 30 degree nights, but we'll head back when it gets warm again.

Awesome. We did that two and the two girls and boy love it. Such cheap fun. We found so many 'gems'! I will post soon. Have been very bad about keeping the posts up. Glad to see things are good Mark. Send me an XL shirt and I will send you a check...
