Sledding in Rangeley

Hey, this is Spencer, John E.'s son, and we went up to a camp in Rangeley, Maine this weekend, where there was an intense hill down to the lake.  I was able to take my camera on the ride down, as well as letting my mom film my descent down the hill.  I took these clips and edited them on Apple's redesigned iMovie program very quickly.  Oh, and make sure you have your speakers on, because there is music.

Awesome video with music... I love it to Immigrant Song. You have set a new baseline on the RELAX blog. Great job! Trivia here...

The "Land of ice and snow" is Iceland, where the band played in June, 1970.

Hate to be an old fuddy dud but you should be wearing a helmet Spencer! That tree at the end looks pretty close!

studies have actually shown that helmets don't matter a whole lot when skiing. I don't imagine sledding is too much different. We would think they do, but the injury rates simply don't seem to vary at all. (I make my kids wear them when they ski for what it is worth.)

Too, too Cool! Love the music! Love the action. Love Dukey joining the chase at the end.

Yes, the bar has been raised. And by Next-Gen Relax, to boot! Relax-X!

Spencer, excellent work. I believe Steven Spielberg's first flick was a tobaggon run. Then he said heck, if I can do that, I can JAWS! Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the slopes. "You're gonna need a bigger sled!"

OK, the gauntlet has been thrown!

Peace Out! JK!
